Kanan has innately known that she can help others realize their unbound potential. She envisions a life where people can fulfill their passions, show support for those in need, and live with greater intention. Her commitment to guide others to find their true purpose and whole wellbeing has been a lifelong journey as she has invested professionally in specialized education and training to provide in-depth clarity to her clients.
Melding her psychotherapy education and training with supportive, transformative modalities, Kanan has become a leading expert in mind, body, and spiritual awareness. Her intuitive and empathic nature offers a compassionate, safe space to share concerns and reflect on areas of major life transitions. Through various methods of inquiry, clients are empowered to understand and process their patterns, conflicts, and emotions that block progress to potentiate their potential. With new understanding, Kanan helps her clients edit their life stories so they can move forward with clarity, purpose, and fulfillment in their lives.
Kanan is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice, trained in evidence-based modalities, including Clinical Hypnotherapy. She also has a master’s level ICF-accredited specialized Jungian Life Coach and Consultant. She is a certified Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and founder of The Vastu Yoga at Loopwell, where she leads yoga teacher training and offers private yoga, meditation, and trauma healing somatic sessions. Kanan worked as a college adjunct professor teaching theory on Yoga Science. Her talents have been recognized by an Ivy League university and local high schools where she provides yoga specifically designed for their athletes.

Karena Virginia is a highly personable energy healer who artfully integrates many years of holistic wellness, extensive travel, study and the mastery of ancient yogic philosophies. As a sought after leader in the world of mindfulness, she has a published book by Sounds True, has been featured internationally on the cover of Yoga Journal as their top Kundalini Yoga instructor, and has worked closely with professionals and celebrities for over 20 years.
She is recognized as an inspired leader in the wellness field who comforts others with her nurturing approach to believing in miracles and trusting the flow of life. She is referred to as a medical intuitive by many because she has a profound way of sensing the energy and blocks in her clients and students. Ever since childhood, Karena has had a strong connection to angels and a deep spiritual approach to life. With her large, authentic and approachable smile, she warms the hearts of many. Karena lives outside of New York City and in Savannah with her husband of twenty years and their two teenagers.

No. A consistent personal practice is helpful, but you do not need to be advanced. This training is designed to support you at your current level and help you grow from there.

Yes. Yoga is both an internal and external practice. We honor accessibility and encourage participation in ways that work for your body and needs. Modifications and supportive options are always available, and we welcome open communication so we can best support your experience.

This is a hybrid training with both in-person and online components. To support accessibility and global participation, the program is also fully accessible online for those in different time zones or countries who are unable to attend in person.
The leaders of the training have intentionally structured the program so that remote participants can fully engage in the curriculum, community, and learning experience regardless of location.

Yes. The program includes internship-style field training designed to help you integrate your learning in real-time teaching environments, with mentorship and guided support.

There may be recommended reading and optional study materials provided throughout the training to support your learning. These resources are designed to deepen your understanding but are not intended to be overwhelming or required in a rigid way.

Kanan is the Founder of The VASTU Yoga Method and Loopwell’s Director of Spiritual Well-being, a licensed psychotherapist, certified yoga teacher (E-RYT), and Jungian life coach with extensive experience in trauma-informed care, clinical hypnotherapy, and integrative mind-body-spirit practices.
Karena Virginia is a globally recognized yoga and mindfulness teacher, energy healer, and author featured internationally for her work in Kundalini yoga, intuitive healing, and spiritual wellness practices. She brings over 20 years of experience working with students, private clients, and communities worldwide.
Together, they guide the training with a balance of grounded psychological insight, embodied practice, and spiritual awareness.
You will also be supported by guest instructors and facilitators throughout the program, who will be announced closer to the training dates.
