Tamsen Fadal

  • Tamsen Fadal is a multi–Emmy Award–winning journalist, filmmaker, menopause advocate, author, and podcast host dedicated to rewriting the narrative for women in midlife. After stepping away from a 30-year career as a national news anchor, she has focused her work on breaking the silence around menopause and advancing meaningful change for women’s health, longevity, and workplace equity.

    She is the co-producer and executive producer of the groundbreaking documentary The [M] Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause, which has sparked a global conversation and galvanized communities, workplaces, and healthcare leaders to address menopause openly and without stigma. Through her advocacy, Tamsen works with organizations and policymakers to help shape more inclusive workplace cultures and policies that support women navigating midlife transitions.

    A certified integrative nutrition coach, Tamsen brings a holistic, evidence-informed approach to women’s well-being. She is also the host of The Tamsen Show, a top-rated podcast featuring honest, unfiltered conversations with leading doctors, experts, celebrities, and cultural voices on menopause, aging, health, and reinvention.

    Her newest book, How to Menopause (Hachette, 2025), is a girlfriend-vetted guide to taking charge of your health, reclaiming your life, and feeling better than ever before.

Jo LaMarca Mathisen

  • Joanne (Jo) LaMarca Mathisen is a former broadcast network executive and multi–Emmy Award–winning journalist and television producer whose career has shaped some of the most influential programming in modern media. At NBC News, she was instrumental in the launch of TODAY’s original third hour and later served as Executive Producer of the fourth hour with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, guiding the show through unprecedented challenges, including production during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Prior to NBC, Jo launched a nightly business news program at CNBC while also writing a weekly business column for the Times Mirror–Tribune Company. Throughout her career, her reporting and leadership have centered on financial, national, and international issues, with a consistent focus on women, children, and health.

    A passionate women’s health advocate, Jo has pivoted her work toward advancing menopause research and education, shining a critical light on treatment options, systemic gaps, and the need for greater awareness and solutions. As an executive producer of The [M] Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause, she brings journalistic rigor and deep storytelling expertise to a movement helping women better understand their bodies, advocate for themselves, and navigate midlife with clarity and confidence.

Denise Pines

  • Denise Pines- CEO, author, speaker, filmmaker, and health advocate- Pines is a media pioneer, award-winning marketer, serial entrepreneur, and community health advocate. She served more than 14 years as a creative consultant for talk television and radio shows (PBS/NPR) and executive producer on 11 social justice documentaries. As co-founder of Women in the Room Productions, she is committed to diversity in front and behind the screen. Pines work includes thought-provoking documentaries and engaging live programs for PBS, including the award-winning “Birthing Justice” on the Black maternal health crisis, the NAACP nominated “PUSHOUT: The Criminalization of Black Girls in Schools” the “Fight for $15” and its impact on small business, “Too Important to Fail” the school-to-prison pipeline, the plight of New Orleans’s residents on the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina (directed by Academy Award winner Jonathan Demme) and a “one-night-only” Prince concert at the Conga Room in Los Angeles. Pines is the president of the Osteopathic Medical Board, past president of the Medical Board of California, and serves on the executive board of the Federation of State Medical Boards.
