Loopwell is honored to welcome Dr. Eleonora Teplinsky for the exclusive launch of her debut book, Beyond the Pink: Navigating Life, Health, and Breast Cancer ā a comprehensive and compassionate guide for anyone who has been touched by breast cancer, published by Balance Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group.
If you or someone you love has faced a breast cancer diagnosis, or if you simply want to be better informed and empowered about your health, this evening is for you.
In her groundbreaking new book, board-certified oncologist Dr. Eleonora Teplinsky goes beyond science and medicine to address the whole person ā not just the patient. As Head of Breast and Gynecologic Medical Oncology at Valley Health System and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Teplinsky has spent over a decade treating breast cancer in women of all ages. She wrote this book because the resources women need ā especially younger women balancing diagnosis with careers, relationships, fertility, and family ā are too often hard to find and harder to trust.
Join us for an intimate evening with Dr. Teplinsky as she explores:
Navigating a diagnosis with clarity and confidence
The latest treatment options and how to advocate for your care
Challenges unique to younger patients: fertility, family, relationships, and work
Managing treatment-related menopause and reclaiming quality of life
Real stories from previvors, survivors, and thrivers
