This workshop is designed to cut through the new-age nonsense and get right to the good stuff: tools for everyday people rooted in some of yoga's deepest traditions and supported some of today's most modern science.

During this session, we'll look at two areas where yoga and meditation can be most beneficial: building resilience and managing attention.
With a blend of discussion and experience, we'll unpack the esoteric eastern philosophy and ivory tower science behind these practices, and bring them down to earth through simple, direct, and accessible exercises.

About Sam Chase
Sam Chase designs and delivers mindfulness and resilience-building programs for organizations worldwide. His work includes training world leaders at the United Nations, National Guard service members, hundreds of Department of Education educators, and nurses battling the COVID pandemic at Brooklyn Hospital Center. In addition to serving as the Lead Learning Faculty at Kripalu Center, the largest yoga & retreat center in the US, he developed Kripalu's RISE program, an evidence-based resilience training that serves over 10,000 people in 150 organizations and has been featured in more than two dozen peer-reviewed publications.
